Katarzyna J. BLINOWSKA
Katarzyna J. Blinowska Ph.D, Sc.D (Doctor Habilitatus) is full Professor, Head of the Department of Biomedical Physics and Director of Graduate Studies in Biomedical Physics of Warsaw University. Her interests are in biological signal processing and modeling. She has worked extensively in the area of development of new advanced methods of EEG analysis, especially time-frequency methods and multivariate time series analysis. She is an author of over 150 scientific publications. She was visiting professor at the University of Southern California and University of Lisbon. She gave lectures in the numerous European and American universities, among others: University of Heidelberg, Oxford University, University of Amsterdam, Politechnico di Milano, University of Nice, University of North Carolina, University of Alberta, Johns Hopkins Medical University. She has been principal investigator on numerous grants from Polish Ministry of High Education and Science, coordinator of the Foggarty grant from NIH and subcontractor of Concerted Action of EC. She has been expert of European Commission in FP5 and FP6 programs, expert evaluator for Spanish Ministry of Health and Marsden Fund of New Zealand. She promoted over 40 M.Sc. and 10 Ph. D. graduates.
